The center point of love is the satisfaction you get from the happiness of someone you love. The pure love is a mild feeling so one would never violate any strong principles for the happiness of ones beloved. But if someone does so then it means that the feeling is not love but is a type of passion.
Love also needs a feeling of respect for your beloved. This is not a type of respect we have for the great persons or our elders but it is the respect of the feelings and beliefs of your beloved. Respect is needed to develop a feeling of care. But the most basic steps towards love are attraction, interaction and affection. These are not rigidly needed but almost required to move towards the love. In most cases no interaction is possible without any attraction and interaction is needed to understand each other's feelings, beliefs and qualities. These factors lead to the liking or disliking for someone.
What I was talking is seeming very boring because that is rather philosophical but there are more beautiful aspects too. There is a saying "The true love dies without unfold". If I conceder this then I can say that I have fallen in love so many times that I can't remember, though all of those were a type of love at first site. Though it was my thought that love at first site is not more that attraction and often this is true but in some cases it is just a matter of heart, which can't be defined by brain. I realized this only after experiencing it. The attraction always makes them meet but often the true love dies without unfold. But wherever the lovers at first site meet, the time decides whether it is true love or just an attraction because the true love is also always long and lasting love.
The Love at first site may be true but I have a doubt that it can't be long and lasting because there are a very few chances that it unfolded and still be true. I heard somewhere that love is a building build on the base of a long time of silent sacrifices. One more thing that is to err is human so it is rare to find a person who can truly walk on the rode of love. So we should accept the person who is walking close to it.
