Anti-Redlof

There is a virus called HTML.Redlof.A(as called by Norton AntiVirus others may call it something else). The strange thing with is that it doesn't infect executables but the HTML documents. It also infects PHP(Personal Home Page), ASP(Active Server Pages), JSP(Java Server Pages), VBS(Visual Basic Script) and HTT(HyperText Template) files. When infected with this virus the explorer automatically creates Folder.htt and Desktop.ini files in each folder you try to access. Norton AntiVirus detects it but it is still not able to repair it.

A few days back my friend(Sudeep) gave me hundreds of books in HTML formate(Thanks Sudeep) but around 4500 files were infected with this virus Antiviruses were unable to repair them so I wrote this java script and then I successfully used it to repair all my infacted files.

Instructions for use

• This script can not scan into compressed folders so it is recommended that you use other antiviruses to scan such files and repair infected files with it after extracting them.
• This script obviously needs to write into files and registry, in order to repair the virus. But your antivirus program may complaint or block this activity. You must allow this script to do what it does in order to repair files.
• You must close all the programs while scaning so that no file access conflict may not occur. Especially Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer must not be opened.
• There is no progress indications so you have to be patient until the result information box appears.
• In case of any error/warning it will create a file C:\VIRCLEAN.LOG please send it to me so that I may improve the script.
• You should also double check the virus by scaning with any other antivirus to make sure that no virus is left.

Minimum Requirements Any system that may get infected with this Virus, Windows Scripting Host (preinstalled in Windows 98). Installation Extract the Anti-Redlof.jse from Anti-Redlof.zip to any folder you like and run it from there. Uninstallation Delete the JS file

Hindi Editor

"Hindi Editor" is actually meant for those people who are not familiar with the standard Inscript keyboard layout. Here, my efforts are to reduce the necessity of remembering the keyboard layout and where it still needs some memorizing then it would be very easy to recall. I want that wherever you feel even a bit uncomfortable, please inform me so that it can be made very user friendly.

Minimum Requirements Internet Explorer 5.0 or above. Installation Run setup.exe and follow the instructions. Uninstallation Delete all the files and program group.

If you login in text mode and often use different desktops then this is for you. You just have to type 'start' instead of startx to get it all.

Windows API for DOS

Windows API for DOS is a powerful and good looking windows interface library written in Turbo C++. Though I don't have any powerful BGI drivers I did my best with a 640x480x16 display mode and results are good enough to compare with Windows 98 [only as much as I have completed yet]. It needs a lot of work and tools for taking it to the apex. So I will need your help for this to be completed. I also have a plan to port this library to Linux so that one can use it's full power.

Minimum Requirements DOS 5.0/Above, Turbo C++ 7.0/Equiv. Installation Extract the downloaded archive and open API.PRJ in Turbo C++ or whatever you use Uninstallation Remove all files.

Interpreter for a 'C' like language

Actually when I was in B.Sc. I^st my teacher Resp. Ms. Neelam told me that she has never seen someone who has given a compiler as his/her project in B.Sc. Computer Science. So I decided to make a compiler but at that time I could only develop an interpreter.

Splash - The Imagination Composer

Splash is a versatile software for image composing and drawing. I will love to say it "The Imagination Composer". This was not only my first project but the first program as well [in VB]. I learnt VB during the development of this software so this may seem a simple one but I did a lot for this. I hope that it will be useful for you.
